Specialized Professional Development Institutes and Workshops

“I feel so privileged and validated because finally my skills as a teacher are being recognized, not through an award, but by allowing me to prepare and carry out professional development for my colleagues… Thank you for acknowledging our strengths, but also for constantly pushing us to do more critical thinking about our teaching.”
– Teacher, IDRA’s ExCELS (Educators x Communities = English Language Learners = Success) Project, 2006
