Monthly Webinar Series – Bilingual (English/Spanish)
by the Texas IDRA Parent Information and Resource Center ( PIRC )

We are pleased to announce a series of free webinars on parent engagement in education. With these live webinars, we have a series of topics courses designed for you, families, parent educators, teachers and administrators, particularly in Title I schools.

These bilingual (English/Spanish) webinars will consist of one-hour conversations, presentations and collaborative work held through the Internet and are of special interest to those schools not meeting Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP). At each session, there also will be information updates on current critical issues in public education and on early childhood home visitation services. You will receive a certificate of participation. These sessions also can be part of meeting professional development and parent involvement requisites.

Estamos muy contentos de anunciar una serie de seminarios gratis sobre participación de los padres en la educación. Con estos webinars, tenemos una serie de temas diseñado para usted, familias, educadores de padres, maestros y administradores, sobre todo en escuelas de Título I.

Estos seminarios bilingües (Inglés / Español) consistirán en conversaciones de una hora, presentaciones y trabajo en colaboración celebrado a través del Internet y son de especial interés para aquellas escuelas que no cumplan el Progreso Anual Adecuado (AYP). En cada reunión, también se informara sobre temas críticos en la educación pública y en servicios de visitas domiciliarias para la primera infancia. Usted recibirá un certificado de participación. Estas sesiones pueden ser también parte de la reunión de desarrollo profesional y requisitos de participación de padres.
