The lifestyle of migrant families is filled with challenges, opportunities and an ever-present belief that today's work and a good education will provide a better tomorrow.

For more than 30 years, the federal government has provided funds to schools to support the education of migrant students. Today, migrant funds are part the No Child Left Behind Act. Funds flow to school districts via state education departments. The migrant program goal is to better the social, economic and educational opportunities of migrant children and their families.
