Sulema Carreón-Sánchez, M.A.

Sulema Carreón-Sánchez is an IDRA senior education associate. She provides training and technical assistance in TAKS strategies, bilingual and ESL teaching, and sheltered instruction techniques among many others. Carreón-Sánchez has worked in education for about 30 years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Our Lady of the Lake University and her master’s degree in bilingual/bicultural studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is proficient in English and Spanish.
