Civil Rights Compliance: An Update

This training module is designed for trainers to assist classroom teachers and school administrators with the legal intent, procedural requirements and employment practices requirements contained in Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Use this tool to help participants become familiar with the civil rights movement activities that occurred between 1954 and 1965 in the United States. Participants can also learn about the race desegregation services available through Title IV Desegregation Assistance Centers.
