Texas schools are removing students from the classroom at alarming rates in the name of discipline. But tactics like in-school suspension, out-of-school suspension, and disciplinary alternative education programs do not support students or promote positive student behavior. In fact, exclusionary discipline is one of the top six reasons students do not graduate.
