IDRA Researcher and Program Evaluator – Job Description

Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented researcher and program evaluator to help further IDRA’s mission. The researcher and program evaluator will be responsible for designing and conducting quantitative and qualitative research and evaluation that informs educational practice and policy. The successful candidate will be technically proficient in research and/or evaluation design, instrument design, data collection and fieldwork, statistical analysis, data visualization, and report development. The professional will work cross-functionally and deliver timely formative and summative evaluations to support the work of IDRA and its projects and initiatives.

Requirements include:

Additional tasks may include using Excel and/or R software to prepare data for Tableau visualizations. Knowledge of how to construct graphs and tables in Excel is required. The successful candidate also will assist in constructing maps using QGIS and/or Tableau.

The researcher and program evaluator will be responsible for conducting internet and library research for peer-reviewed, empirical articles and publications, and for synthesizing them into literature reviews to accompany technical reports.
