The Intercultural Development Research Association (IDRA) is a tax-exempt and independent non-profit organization. Our mission is to achieve equal educational opportunity for every child through strong public schools that prepare all students to access and succeed in college.
IDRA seeks a grant writer consultant who can collaborate with our staff to draft award-winning proposals. We seek professionals with a track record in developing proposals for corporations, philanthropic foundations, and federal and state entities such as the U.S. Department of Education, National Science Foundation, Institute of Educational Sciences and the Texas Education Agency. We also seek applicants with experience in writing program development and research proposals in relevant areas, for example:
We seek an individual with a proven track record and who shares our views that no child is expendable and that communities must have a voice in the policies that most impact them. Applicants should understand asset-based practices, systemic change, institutional biases, and current local, state and federal education policy issues.
Personal dedication to equal educational opportunity for all children required.
Fees are commensurate with experience.
