The Texas Legislature passed SB 2, a bill that creates a multi-billion-dollar universal private school voucher program for the first time in our state’s history. Vouchers drain money from public schools and this new law will do the same. The law will allow private companies to siphon taxpayer dollars away from public schools with no accountability for students or families.
